Brief
Mountain Dew Holographic label.
CHALLENGE
For the launch of its Mountain Dew Game Fuel drink, PepsiCo’s requirements comprised Holographic effect on the front of the product, terms and conditions on the back, and the application of Unique Random Coding.
SOLUTION
The Kris team collaborated with their vendors to develop a special Pearl BOPP, which contained Metallised coating, upon which the approved Holographic image was embossed using a specially developed technique. The Kris technology facilitated simultaneous registered printing on the label’s backside along with the registered Unique Random Coding on the back of each label.
